The day my daughter was accepted into the University of the Arts London (UAL), I was filled with both pride and worry. She had loved drawing since childhood, and now she was finally living her dream but I knew that adapting to life in a foreign country would require my full support.
So, I made the decision to fly to the UK and help her search for the right place to live. While many might choose to rent first to test the waters, deep down I knew: my child is chasing her dream, and I wanted to give her the most stable foundation possible.
Together, we explored different parts of London, admiring the charm of suburban homes. But we quickly realised how important transport connectivity was. That’s when we discovered The Green Quarter. The moment we took the Tube, we both smiled, it was so easy to get to UAL, Queen Mary University, and even Regent Street for her part-time job.
For me, as someone who travels frequently between Italy and France for work, the proximity to Heathrow was a huge plus. It gave my daughter peace of mind and allowed me to be there whenever she needed me.
When we first moved in, much of the development was still under construction and the area was surrounded by muddy ground. But that gave us the rare chance to witness a neighbourhood come to life. This spring, when the cherry blossoms bloomed, my two daughters were outside every day taking photos, sharing moments, and celebrating their new home.
I used to worry about their future, but now I’m certain I made the right choice.
“Renting a dorm for two people costs over NT$5 million a year. But by buying this two-bedroom home, not only did we save money, we also bought in at a time of high growth potential and the value has clearly appreciated.”
“I’ve always believed that a true investment isn’t just about buying property; it’s about building a steady path for your child’s future.”
Choosing The Green Quarter didn’t just give us a place to live, it gave us peace of mind, lasting value, and a beautiful new chapter.
