I earned a PhD in Management and Organisation with a specialisation in Strategic Management from Yeditepe University in Istanbul. My academic foundation began with a degree in Electronic Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara.
Curiosity drove my academic journey — a deep desire to understand and optimise complex systems, whether in engineering or management. Pursuing a PhD was not just about obtaining a title; it was about mastering the tools necessary to tackle real-world challenges. Through rigorous research and critical thinking, I honed the skills that continue to define my career.
My career began in Istanbul, where I worked in technology roles at Yapi Kredi Bank and Is Bank for seven years. After relocating to London in 2005, I held various roles at major financial institutions, including 13 years at a leading German investment bank.
These experiences sharpened my analytical skills and gave me a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies. They also taught me the value of stakeholder management and how to identify opportunities — a mindset that seamlessly translated into property.
My interest in property was sparked by personal investments. I purchased two flats at Berkeley’s Queenshurst development in Kingston, and the exceptional capital gains and rental yields far outperformed traditional financial instruments.
This success was transformative. It turned my curiosity into a passion and, eventually, a career. I realised that I could help others uncover similar opportunities and guide them towards informed, strategic investments.
