The ceremony, which brings together key players from across the UK residential property market, saw Berkeley Group pick up two major accolades in recognition of our commitment to high-quality urban regeneration and industry-leading sustainability performance.
Large Developer of the Year
In awarding Berkeley Group the title of Large Developer of the Year, the judges praised the company’s “strong regeneration leadership and clear commitment to delivering high-quality, complex brownfield schemes at scale.”
The panel also highlighted Berkeley’s “best-in-class ESG performance,” specifically noting the group’s achievements in biodiversity net gain and climate disclosure. This award reflects our long-term strategy to create social, environmental, and economic value across London, Birmingham, and the South East.
Oval Village: Development of the Year
In addition to the group-wide win, our landmark London scheme, Oval Village, was also named Development of the Year (more than 350 homes).
The judges described the project as a “truly outstanding flagship scheme demonstrating exceptional vision, scale and design excellence.” They specifically commended the transformative regeneration of the long-derelict industrial site, which features the sensitive reuse of historic infrastructure, including the iconic Victorian gasworks, alongside new homes, commercial space, and public parkland.
